Foraging Wild Edible Plants (S201)
Human beings can actually go for about three days without eating before it starts to have adverse effects (baring existing heath conditions.) However, the idea that we are going to set a trap or shoot a deer to stay alive is foolish. Plants are much more prolific and they don't run from us when we gather them. We are much more likely to stay alive by relying on plants than hoping for meat. So why do people shy away from plants? They avoid plants because of the fear of the unknown. Come, take our Foraging Wild Edible Plants Course, learn to identify and safely prepare and eat wild edibles from the Southeast United States.
